Farm to Market 

I'm currently at work on a series of paintings featuring plants that people grow, harvest, and eat. It started out as curiosity and admiration for farmers' markets. The vegetables grown in small farm gardens are strikingly beautiful. They embody a wide range of color, texture and form. Additionally, the human act of nurturing plants from seed to table is an amazing way in which we connect with the natural world. (Click/tap the image to view full-sized.)
